MW Productions has undertaken numerous new media projects, primarily in the field of education or in conjunction with film and video programs. Educational projects include Voyage to Galapagos, a NSF-funded CD-ROM series that teaches evolution theory and the history of Charles Darwin's development of the theory through video-intensive exploration of 10 Galapagos Islands, along with data analysis in a virtual laboratory; Workwise, a Department of Education-funded CD-ROM series that encourages students to solve work-based problems; and The Critical Eye, a laser disc that allows students to dissect the content of three types of media messages, and then create their own version of the message.

Web-based projects in production include two web site tools devoted to Education: one regarding Charter Schools and the other devoted to School Reform. There is also a web interface for many of the projects MW Productions undertakes in film and video.
